The website of the German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst, DAAD) provides access to a grant database featuring details of the programme offered by the DAAD and other organisations supporting foreign students who are looking for funding options for their studies and research in Germany. .
In addition to the programmes listed by the DAAD, there is a number of special grant programmes in individual countries and regions that are not included in the database. This information can be obtained from branches of the DAAD, the diplomatic missions of the Federal Republic of Germany or from relevant offices of universities abroad.
